One of these days I’ll get a camera that isn’t my phone.

phones capture good data these days, a decent sensor and the lens is fine for up close. might just benefit from some editing.
it’s a great picture

Thank you. I need to redownload photoshop on my new computer and play around with editing again. I actually liked that it was cloudy out when I took it too for some reason

Nexus 6P, not too shabby so far.

all my work is only ever done in ms-paint and the default ms-office photo tool.
I cut the car out in ms-paint, then re-balanced the background and car separately in the ms-office photo viewer. then pasted them back together in ms-paint.
can see I messed it up, particularly on the rear bumper and front wheel. but anyway. not to show some amazing result, just to show that the data is there in the image, it just needs tweaking.

Huh that’s pretty cool. I’m no photo editor by any stretch of the imagination to be fair.

How do you like the e46?

So far it’s hands down the best car I’ve ever driven. The balance is super and the power is the right amount for the street I feel like. And the sound, jesus that sound.

I love my e90, the e46 m3 was what made me fall in love with cars. Unfortunately, I’ve never driven an e46, but if the e90 is anything to go by, I bet that car is also sublime. My dad has a 135is with the M exhaust on it, and if it’s anything to go by, I bet that S54 sounds amazing. Hell the N51 in my 128i sounds pretty awesome.

I’ve been dying to have a crack at an E9x car. It’s what I plan on upgrading to next year once I’ve had my fun with the E46

The S54 at full chat is indeed a very nice soundtrack. :) The S65 is no slouch either though, one of my previous neighbours had an E92 and it was always nice to listen to him heading out.

Go test drive one, it can’t hurt. I love pulling up in the e90 to a dealer, they usually don’t ask for my license or insurance, they’re like let me go and get the keys. Were you thinking about another M3, or would you get another E90?

If I did anything it would be an E92 or id switch teams and grab a C63. I had a shot at driving a E92 a while back but decided to take a GT500 out instead. No regrets that day haha.

Hee hee! Now I want to go for a drive. Mine’s a manual cabrio, I’ve often wondered what the SMG is like to drive. Glad you’re enjoying it!

I red lined my S65 today in 2nd, 8300 RPM is pretty awesome from a V8. I need to get an exhaust for mine, it’s stock and I was going to get one when i paid it off then I needed a second car, then I lost my job, but I’ll eventually get one.

The SMG is interesting to say the least. It clunks during shifts, but I’ve read thats normal just hard to get used to. Take off can be jerky if you get into it and then back right out but basically if you are smooth on the throttle the car works the rest out so it’s not to bad.

I almost traded the 128i in and got a C63, but then I came to my senses and realized that I didn’t need 2 German super saloons. I’d go for the M3, they’re both fast, but the M3 is a finer instrument compared to the C63.

The muscle car driver in me likes the brass knuckles approach of the merc though haha.

There’s a guy with a 128i who’s a regular in my class for autocross - looks like a fun car. I’ve got a major power advantage, but something like 600lbs of extra weight since I live in convertible-land, so it makes for an interesting contest.

The 128i is a pretty good car, it’s just not as good as an M car. I’ve never driven a convertible M3, I drove a 2007 M6 when I was 18, but that was a long time ago and that was fun. The 128i isn’t a powerhouse but it still drives really well.
